Temptation Part II: The Temptation Continues…
How could I have let this happen? How could I have been so naive? I can’t let this continue. This has to end. It must die. I’m sorry, but before I can go on, I must tell you that what happens next may not be suitable for the squeamish. I realized I couldn’t do this alone. I mean, I never killed before. However, I knew it had to be done. I couldn’t deal with the pain and the torment.
What’s a woman to do? I called my best friend, and she came over to help me. She has always been there for me. I could remember us being kids. She always knew when to go down the path of least resistance.
Not that I’m saying my friend is little miss perfect. She’s gotten into her fair share of temptation. It’s just that she knows her limits as to where I don’t. I should know it, but I don’t. If anyone can help me, my best friend of all these years can help me.
My friend came over. I knew he would be near, so we had to get our plan into action. One way or another, I would rid myself of him; rid myself of my temptation. Wait! I don’t have anything to get rid of him with. Where do most people go when they’re desperate? The kitchen!
We ran over to the kitchen, and grabbed every utensil possible to rid myself of him. He was not very easy to get rid of. At times, it just seemed like he was everywhere.
He was always there when I had troubles. I had him to calm me down. But I have those that love me to help me with that. I don’t need him. I don’t need more trouble added on top of trouble. He needs to go. We need to get rid of him, and that’s just what we did.
Oh my! Getting rid of him was messy! There was a mess everywhere. It’s a good thing that we were wearing gloves and dressed in rags. Stains like that would have taken a long time to get out. We had to clean up, but the stains were just everywhere. Yet, I knew we had to clean it up somehow. I got the bleach, and we started getting to work. I don’t know how long we were there for, but we finally got the job done.
The only thing we had to do next was to get rid of all this incriminating evidence. We could bury it. No, that would never work. Someone would be bound to find out. We could put it down the garbage disposal. No, that could get clogged. I then decided to go to my fireplace and start a fire. We put everything that was or looked like evidence, into the fire, and they burned with no problem. At first I was worried that someone would notice a strange smell coming from my home, but no one did.
I did it! I won! I defeated the temptation. Correction-We defeated the temptation. Believe me when I tell you that it felt good.
When all was said and done, we then decided…
Well, we decided to have another bowl of ice cream.
