“Youth is happy because it has the ability to see beauty. Anyone who keeps the ability to see beauty never grows old.”
I guess you can tell I’m excited about day 30 arriving and there are 10 more days left. You know to go without something for 40 days is a tough thing to do. Looking back on quitting smoking, I wonder how I was able to quit all those years ago.
Yes. I chew sugar-free mint gum. It curbs the cravings. I chew a lot more when I’m driving than anything else. LOL. I’m down to a pack a day…I swear. LOL
But seriously, I’m glad I did this if for nothing else, to prove that I indeed have will power and I can go without certain things in life. They’re not necessities and it’s good to detox your body every now and then.
In other news…
Andy’s doing better. He’s able to see a bit better and that’s good. Today he went driving to the store all by his lonesome.
Today I did some writing. It wasn’t much. I have some classical music playing on my mp3 player and my earbuds are in my ears. Today I’m drowning everyone out to Beethoven….LOL
Okay, Beethoven is a part of it…
That’s the name of the CD. I found it at a Beall’s Outlet a few years ago for two dollars…That’s right…You read it right. I’m loving Pathetique Sonata by Beethoven. You can find it on Amazon for 7 dollars…maybe cheaper…*shrugs*
Tomorrow’s a new day…Day 31. I’ll see you then…
BTW: I do apologize if I missed your blog. I’ve been so scatterbrained lately with Andy and all…Then I have other things on my mind. This is what happens when I have too much going on at once…
